March Break Nature Camp

March Break Camp information now available!

Daily programs are geared to specific age groups ranging from 5 to 13 years. These specialized nature programs ensure a high level of activity and interest for each participant. Humber Nature Programs  Nature Interpreters who work regularly, throughout the year with school classes and community groups staff the Nature Camp. Make this March Break worthwhile for your child by giving him or her the opportunity to develop a lasting appreciation for the natural environment.

Cost $205

Activities Include

 Snowshoeing *  Chickadee feeding  Forest Exploration
Orienteering  Arts & Crafts
 Maple Syrup Harvesting
 Friday Lunch  Tobogganing*  

*weather permitting

Singsongs, crafts and games are incorporated into the daily agenda to enhance the above activities.

   

Junior and Senior Counsellors(14-16 years)

Graduates of the L.I.T. Program are eligible to participate as counsellors during March Break Camp. You are invited to call the Camp Director at 416. 675. 5009 if you are 14 years of age or older, to confirm your participation.

Meals and Transportation

The children will bring their own lunches and drinks each day except for Friday. Additional drinks,snacks and Friday lunch will be provided by the Arboretum. Please inform us of any food allergies and please do not bring nut products of any kind to camp.The Arboretum Centre For Urban Ecology is accessible by TTC. Please contact us for further details.
