Event highlights
NGO’s within the Humber River Watershed will be displaying ecological and sustainability information;
Learning stations will focus on cooperation and a variety of sustainability themes including low impact living, tuning into nature, wildlife care, local food, clean water, waste reduction, energy conservation and animal tracking;
For Students: Learning stations will focus on a variety of sustainability themes including: tuning into nature, wildlife care, clean water, waste reduction, energy conservation and animal tracking.
For Teachers: Two one hour professional development workshops will be offered:
Engaging students in environmental action projects (Learning for a Sustainable Future);
Tricks and trips for making the outdoors your classroom (Humber Arboretum).
In the afternoon each school with work together (team teach) to complete a variety of tasks;

Cost- $100 per group (5 students 2 teachers) Which works out to be 7 hrs of teachable moments for less than $3 per student.
